This week, Lily Ray (freshman) reached double digits vs. Sarcoxie and did a great job defensively against one of the best scorers. Brody (junior) scored a season-high 17 points on Monday vs. Hurley along with 5 rebounds and a couple of assists. Congratulations to Lily and Brody!

Last week, Monica (sophomore) played a big part to the Lady Bulldogs' win against Purdy scoring 21 points. Jack (junior) played a consistent role last week scoring 20 points and taking 3 charges against Thomas Jefferson and Southwest. Congratulations, Monica and Jack!

Final score at TJ. Boys played hard, but a solid Cavalier team downs the Bulldogs in the final quarter of the conference opener. The boys will play at Southwest on Thursday for a non-conference matchup.
STUDENT-ATHLETES OF THE WEEK: Kelton Park & Zoie Simpson
Zoie, senior, has averaged over 12 points per game this season and does an outstanding job defending the opponent's best players. Kelton, sophomore, averages 8 points per game, 2.3 steals per game, 3.6 assists per game. He has also shot 72% at the free throw line.
